240 six and an auto in a four door - horrifying. Still, if you didn’t have anywhere to go in a hurry, it’d get there. Eventually. Kind of the tramp steamer of land yachts.

Has more boogie than a falcon with 144 of similar vintage. That said, I have houseplants with more boogie than a 144......

My 144-powered Ranchero (never drove it like that, engine was in the bed when I got it) had a 4.10 special order rear end. I’d like to imagine it had great boogie from about 0-30mph...
